  PLAR Profile and Proof of Learning Checklist
Advisor Checklist:  Helping Clients Develop a PLAR Profile and Proof of Learning Plan

A two page schematic with descriptors and checklists to help advisors incorporate assessment and documentation of Essential Skills and Canadian Language Benchmarks with prior learning assessment and recognition (PLAR). This piece will be particularly valuable in working with immigrant and potential immigrant clients, but also valuable for working with clients with various literacy levels.

The Canadian Association of Prior Learning Assessment (CAPLA) and the CCLB have partnered on the development of this piece. This project was supported by the Adult Learning Knowledge Centre, an initiative of the Canadian Council on Learning.
