CTHRC has a section on its web site, Emerit, that allows people to download or purchase a wide range of training materials for specific occupations. Self-directed multimedia, online learning is available at this location for specific tourism and hospitality occupations, as well as assessment for certification in various occupations. Materials available include: National Occupational Standards, Trainer guides, workbooks and assessment information.

Essential Skills' Authentic Workplace Materials
This HRSDC site contains a collection of Authentic Workplace Materials (forms, graphs, brochures, regulations, etc.) that are actually used in many workplaces across Canada. The collection focuses on Reading, Document Use, and Writing. Some include other skills like Oral Communication and Numeracy. You can view the materials by occupation, NOC code, or by type of material.

STIC (Sector-Specific Terminology & Counselling)
The Sector Terminology and Counselling (STIC) project provides a model for sector specific orientation, occupational terminology training, computerized profile building, and career action-plan development for internationally-trained professionals and tradespeople. The project has been developed for four sectors: Engineering, Accounting, Health Care, and Automotive Service Mechanics.
